Ever since the white daisy painting that I made for our recent 6th anniversary on 29th January earlier this year (refer to post: 6TH ANNIVERSARY: I’M YOUR DAISY), Taenggu herself has been showing off her growing penchant for a particular brand of white daisy accessories that have a similar smiley face on them just like how my white daisy looks like on my painting.
Receiving such positive and encouraging love signs from her seemingly in response to my painting, the artwork that I’m making for Taeyeon’s birthday this year no doubt got to have even more daisies on it too!
The idea was fairly simple. I chose one of my favourite recent photos of Taenggu and surrounded her with many small real pressed dried white daisies. But the key highlight was the smiley faces that I drew on the flower head of each daisy with a black marker pen. Now they are not just any ordinary white daisy but one that knows how to smile and brings joy! And of course, not forgetting to add a few butterflies that are like Taenggu’s own spirit animal fluttering around our lovely white daisies hehe.
