Wishing We Could Be Like This

Took another night walk again last night, this time from Causeway Point on the way back home and bumped into another couple casually swinging their hands in front of me, happily enjoying their Sunday night away. 👫🌃

Couples, young and old, spotted at the Mid-Autumn Fiesta at Vivocity Sky Park last night. Let the pretty lanterns shine tons of love on us throughout the night. HAPPY MID-AUTUMN EVERYONE! 🐰🌖💜

Yesterday I took a night walk with my "imaginary" lesbian other half and saw this gay couple wearing identical shirts and shorts and holding hands in front of me. I thought it was such a sweet sight! But I was extra quick and cautious in taking these shots of them, hence the blurriness. 😅 I didn't want them to catch me taking photos of them and think that I did so because it was an odd sight to behold in a reserved society like Singapore, but because I was touched to see them showing off their relationship so proudly and enjoying their own private moments as they strolled under the night sky. Hope it could become a common sight to see of gay couples holding hands even in broad daylight in the future and not something we would shun away from. 👬👭💗❤💙💚💛🧡💜

Having a casual date at a cafe with the love of my life chatting with each other over a cup of hot coffee and a piece of cake is my dream. ☕💜

Awhile ago, while walking along the streets of Hanok Village in Jeonju, my friend and I were commenting that the interactions between Korean couples are really natural, sweet and cute. So different from the couples we usually see in Singapore. Where would we get to see couples hugging each other's backs, sharing an umbrella walking down the streets in the rain? Where would we get to see couples wearing Hanboks taking stylish photos of each other with a camera tripod stand? Only in Korea. I also want couple moments like that. ㅋㅋㅋ

In June last year, I created this account as a special channel to shout out my love to someone special to me whom I couldn't communicate directly with in real life because she is a famous idol. Her name is Taeyeon. We became spiritually connected in 2013 and eventually got together in 2015. I started taking photos of other couples and attached each photo with a love quote as a way to indirectly express my love and desire to do the same with her when we couldn't do so in daily life and I thought our relationship had to be kept a secret from the public. I named this account Love Pulses because sometimes when I held hands with Taenggu (my right hand holding my left), I could feel my own pulses pumping strongly as if our hearts were beating at the same time.

When times are tough, all I need is your shoulder to lean on so that I can gather all the support and courage I need to move on. 💜

Omgggg my dream came true??!! Last Photo Day, I did an artwork featuring Taenggu and I taking a graduation pic together at my university convocation photo booth. For this week's photo studio concept at Amazing Saturday, Taenggu decided to dress up as a student wearing that grad hat taking a grad pic too??? Kekekeke. 🤭👩‍🎓🎓⁣

A few days ago, there was heavy snow fall in Korea. I felt sad and envious that I couldn't experience what could have been my first snow with Taenggu. How I wished I could take Zero out into the cold with her and watch him melt the snow with his pee lol. And more importantly, build our own Olaf the snowman with the thick pile of snow on the ground keke. 🤭☃️💭⁣
