My motivation for this artwork came from my recent revelation of Seohyun’s new role as a con artist in her upcoming drama “Private Life” having a connection with my last year’s birthday artwork of her as Bugs Bunny (see SEOHYUN BIRTHDAY 2019: SEOHYUN THE BUGS BUNNY). I was reading the book “Big Magic” by Elizabeth Gilbert where it mentioned Bugs Bunny as the best example of a trickster, which then reminded me that it is a pretty fitting character for a con artist too!

So this year, in anticipation for Seohyun’s refreshing transformation into a con artist for the drama she is currently filming, I decided to do a continuation of my Seohyun Bugs Bunny artwork last year to induce the idea of a money heist this time to portray her new drama character, Cha Joo Eun who commits frauds for a living, drawing inspirations from the smash-hit Spanish netflix series, “La Casa De Papel (Money Heist)” that I recently watched with my sister.
So here’s how I made Seohyun Bugs Bunny, the Ultimate Money Heist Trickster come to life!
